Fashion's going romantic on us, just in time for spring! 

Flowered patterns have dominated most of the 2010's collections. Designers are showing they understand women wanting to accentuate their feminity. 

This trend is showing up on tops, dresses, handbags and accessories.  Rather than going all floral, select one bold flower-inspired piece to create a fashion focal point. 

The 80s sequins look is making a comeback!  Fortunately the sequins we're seeing this season are more sophisticated and not reflective of the over the top tacky 80s jazzercise get-ups.

Here are some tips for wearing sequins this season without looking like a walking disco ball:

1.  Wear one piece at a time.  Less is more when it comes to this fashion trend. Sequin from head to toe can look tacky, not to mention blinding fashion is a big no no.

2.  Start slow by accessorizing.  If you're not sure how to pull off the sequin look, spark up an outfit with sequined accessories.  Sequined bracelets, necklaces, purses and belts are a great way to add a touch of glam to a simple look.

3.  Avoid intricate and multicoloured patterns.  

4.  Pair sequined items with basics.  Sequined cardigans and shrugs have the ability to dress up a plain white T.
